The information provided through Delta Options is intended solely for educational purposes and should not be considered as financial or investment advice. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the performance figures and strategies presented, users are advised that past performance does not guarantee future results. Investment strategies and returns discussed in this service may not be predictive of future outcomes, and performance figures can vary significantly based on market conditions, trading environments, and other variables outside of our control.

Some performance figures are based on backtested results, which simulate the application of historical data to a specific investment strategy. Backtesting can provide insights into how a strategy could have performed under past conditions; however, it does not account for real-world factors such as liquidity constraints, psychological biases, or sudden market movements. Moreover, backtested results often assume perfect execution of trades, which may not be realistic in actual trading environments where slippage, latency, and trading fees can have a significant impact on results.

Additionally, non-backtested performance figures and strategy results were generated starting from July 2022. The market and economic landscape can change quickly, and strategies that were once effective may become less reliable over time due to shifts in market conditions, regulations, or global events. As such, the performance of any strategy moving forward may deviate significantly from prior results.

How we measure performance

Delta Options performance is based on notionally buying every pick on the pick date using the Mark (halfway between the Bid and Ask) of the closing price. Similarly, closed positions use the Mark of the closing price on the sell date. S&P performance is also based on buying an equal amount of SPY on the pick date using the close price. We use the S&Pā€™s total return (dividends reinvested) in our calculations.
